I’ve been a little quiet the last two weeks being fully occupied with a new business venture. After 7 years of hard work and research I can now reveal the source of this distraction: www.cowboycountry.co.uk:
Cowboy Country is a unique wild west themed gift for line dancing fans, country and western music lovers, western movie buffs or anyone with an interest in the USA.

How does it work?
Well back in the year 2000 I bought some land north east of the city of Holbrook, Arizona.
The whole process was quite convoluted and took some time to complete with trips to banks, lawyers and notaries to complete the process and get my deed of ownership signed and stamped. But I had loved America since a trip there in 1981 and wanted to be able to say I really did own a piece of the Wild West.
Holbrook, it turned out, had an authentic western history and strong links to the cowboy lifestyle and I was very pleased with my purchase.
Six months on and I thought wouldn’t it be good if other western fans could also own a piece of America? After all the effort I’d gone to, it would be good to help others with their purchases or, better yet, offer small chunks of my land for sale. And so an idea was born: ‘Cowboy Country’.
After many false starts and several years of writing business plans I’m pleased to say we’re now open for orders!
Now, by purchasing your own 10 square foot parcel of land through Cowboy Country you’ll be granted (here’s the legal bit) ‘Co-ownership of a defined section of the land for the whole life of the applicant with access to all the area adjoining the owner’s land and owned by Cowboy Country’.
The agreement for co-ownership has been specially drafted by UK lawyers NetLawman and you will be provided with two copies of the full agreement with your Owners pack - a western themed leather portfolio to treasure.
